  • Alan Burstin was born on December 7, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan, USA. As a child, she started to learn dance and performed in an acrobatic troupe. Later, she had the opportunity to be the cover character of a paperback book and dance under the stage name of "Kerry Flynn" in a Montreal nightclub. In 1954, she was a Gleason girl in the "Jack Gleason Column" on the TV station. In 1957, she made her appearance on Broadway for the first time under a new stage name "Ellen McKelly", participating in the stage play "Fair Game".
