When I first watched it, I felt that this film was very unlike the Schwarzenegger style I was familiar with. It was no longer an expressionless tough guy, no longer a special soldier with a gun and a bazooka, but a wife and child who acted because of a terrorist organization. The poor people who were sacrificed, single-handedly but not handsome at all, entered the terrorist organization base alone. The plot is actually quite pale, and it doesn't show Schwarzenegger's film advantages at all. Only the mastermind behind the scenes at the end makes people a little surprised. The movie in 2002 coincided with the end of 9/11, so this subject matter is quite sensitive.
