    Character Evaluation

Duncan Jones has an innate talent for the use of high-tech elements, and is good at integrating this talent into his own films to create a distinctive image style. The future world in "Moon" is cold, quiet, and a little retro. It is very different from the glamorous set of contemporary Hollywood blockbusters. It shows Duncan's unique insights into the future of the world. Duncan is obsessed with exploring the delicate emotions of characters in the high-tech background. The reflection on human cloning technology in "Moon", and the attention and discussion on the real human nature of the virtual world in "Source Code" all show his ideological connotation beyond Hollywood popular blockbusters. Ambition, his films are not only visually fascinating, but also thought-provoking and have a long aftertaste.
