    In 1982, he returned to the United States from Beijing to learn Wushu and won the American Wushu Championship [1]  .     Donnie Yen was born on July 27, 1963 in a martial arts family in Guangdong, China. He came to Hong Kong at the age of 2 until he immigrated to Boston, Massachusetts , USA at the age of 11   .
