Another good movie by David Lean. west/east is a question of culture. The so-called gentleman's state exerts superior power in the colonies. Color discrimination is unequal. The criterion for evaluating good and evil is human beings. The old lady is kind and worthy of respect. Adele was dazzled by the heat and frightened by the public opinion, but she still had the courage to appear in court and tell the truth. It is still my wish to meet again in the end. Indian landscapes are beautiful.

When I watched this film N years ago, I only remembered a woman with a slender neck, her face mixed with grief and brokenness, looking up, as if she was listening to some kind of call. She was raped by hallucinations; hallucinations come from within.
