Mix and match elements (brief review, Overlord)
I downloaded this sci-fi war movie for JJ Abrams. As a result, I felt a little disappointed. Maybe my expectations were too high, which led to too many requirements. I am reflecting...

There is a clear stream in the zombie film, and another wonderful flower in the World War II film
"Overlord" will not be a very good movie. In fact, anyone who has watched the trailer and looked forward to it will know that the combination of World War II and the theme of zombies is definitely not a human excavation and deconstruction. The length of the film is too long, it would be better to delete some of the waste scenes. The whole story is still a little procrastinated. The front line of World War II + human experiments is not a zombie film in the traditional sense. Low-cost production, blood plasma and strange scenes are extremely restrained. As a pure B-level blood lover, this is a pediatric department that stands aside. On the contrary, the plane accident in the opening battle scene is very good. The camera movement is smooth, and it is quite a big production. The visual style of the bombing, as a branch story of the Normandy landing, is still small, and the narrative and logic are not completely satisfactory. However, J.J. Abrams's supervision and production help, and the visibility and overall quality are still there. ★★★

Presenting the concepts and elements of a B-movie at the scale and production of an A-movie. The rhythm and atmosphere of the first 2/3 are actually handled well, with "war horror" gradually transitioning to "body horror". The overly simplistic and rude third act and the heroic ending are actually a bit deductible, but the overall look is quite enjoyable and the sense of the game is very strong. It would be more interesting if there were more human transformation spectacles like "Frankenstein's Army".
