Character Evaluation
In David Koepp's script, all the plots and characters unfold around the core human emotions, removing those bells and whistles and seemingly cool environment settings. Most of Cape's stories are about people and people. How to deal with and solve these eternal problems-family, love, friendship, faith. If a movie story lacks these core issues, no matter how cool the external setting and the complicated plot, it will make people feel boring.
