    Graduated from Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2007 . In 2008, he played the leading actor Merlin in "The Legend of Merlin ", which attracted wide attention. With this role, he won the Best Actor Award in the 18th British National Television Awards in 2013 [1]  . "Legend of Merlin" consists of five seasons, which ended at the end of 2012 [2]  .
    In 2014, he appeared in the second season of the BBC TV series " The Fall " as DS Tom Anderson. In 2015, he played Leo in the American drama " Humans ". In 2016, he played the role of the ruler of the dark forest in the movie " The huntsman winter's war ".

    Early Experience

    Colin Morgan was born in a Catholic family in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. His childhood was at the time of the problems of Northern Ireland. He has shown his acting talent and ambition since he was a child   . At the age of five, he participated in a choral performance of "Cinderella" stage play, and later played a role in "Peter Pan" and many local amateur stage plays.
    Colin was inspired by this and determined to become an actor.     In 2007, Colin Morgan played the actor "Vernon Boy" in the adaptation of the novel "Vernon Boy" by the British Booker Prize winner DBC Pierre in the "New Vic" theater   . In the same year, he also played the role of Esteban in a stage play adapted from the Almodovar film " Todo sobre mi madre " at the "Old Vic" Theatre in London .
    In 2008, he played Jethro Cane in the TV series "Doctor Who". In the same year, he was selected to play the leading role of Merlin in the magical drama "The Legend of Merlin " on the British BBC television , and collaborated with Bradley James , who played Arthur , which told about the early lives of Arthur and Merlin . With this play, he was nominated for Outstanding Actor in the Monte Carlo Television Film Festival Golden Fairy Award for three consecutive years from 2009 to 2011, and won the British National Television Awards for Actor in the Drama Series in 2013 . "Legend of Merlin" has five seasons, which ended at the end of 2012 .   
    In 2009, he and Bradley James filmed the behind-the-scenes show " The Real Merlin and Arthur " (The Real Merlin and Arthur) of " The Legend of Merlin" together, and went to Wales to explore the true legend of King Arthur.

In the same year, he also played Victor Richardson in a film of the same name adapted from Vera Brittain's memoir " Testament of Youth "  , which premiered in the UK on January 5, 2015   .
    In 2015, he played Leo in the TV series " Humans " which was co-produced by the United Kingdom and the United States   .
    In 2016, he starred in the BBC1 thriller " The Living and the Dead " and played Nathan Appleby. In the same year, he was determined to star in the movie " The Rising: 1916 ", playing Sean McDermott.
    On April 22, 2016, the sequel " The huntsman winter's war " of the movie " Snow White and the Huntsman " in which he participated was released in North America, where he played the role of the lover of the Snow Queen, the ruler of the dark forest . 

    Personal Life

    Colin Morgan's father is engaged in design and decoration, and his mother is a nurse. He also has an older brother named Neil Morgan who also starred in "The Legend of Merlin."
