), an actor born in Des Moines. She is a well-known "TV drama queen" in the American people; she personally appeals to the public to treat animals and live a vegetarian life. She is also the actress who has won the most Emmy Awards .
Cloris Leachman's most popular role is playing the funny neighbor Phyllis Lindstrom in " Mary Tyler Moore ". In 1971, she also won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for the film " The Last Picture Show " .
Reuters news on January 28 that Cloris Leachman died at his home in California on January 27, 2021 at the age of 94.
