    In 1931, Clark Gable shot the first Movie "Colorful Desert." In 1932, with Movie " The Error ", he was elected as one of the "Top Ten Hollywood Movie Actors" [1]  . In 1934, with the comedy " It Happened One Night " won the 7th Academy Awards for Best Actor Award [2]  . In 1938, he was selected as the "Emperor of Movie" [3]  . In 1939, he co-starred in Movie " Gone with the Wind " with Vivian Mary Hartley , and was nominated for Best Actor in the 12th Oscar Awards for his role as Bryder [4] . In 1945, starring in the Movie " Love Waves in the Angry Sea " directed by Victor Fleming . In 1953, starring in Movie "Red Dust". In 1959, with " Teacher's Pet ", he was nominated for Best Actor in the 16th American Movie Golden Globe Awards [5] . On November 16, 1960, Clark Gable  Died in Los Angeles [6]  .
    In 1995, he ranked 36th in the "100 Sexiest Movie Stars in Film History" list selected by "Empire" magazine [1]  . In 1999, he was selected as the 7th place in " The greatest actor in a hundred years " by the American Movie Association [6] . 

    Early Experience

    Clark Gable was born in Cadiz, State of Ohio on February 1, 1901. His mother died only 10 months after his birth. His father entrusted him to his grandparents, grandparents and other relatives to raise him. In 1912, Clark Gable had to drop out of school due to changes in his family   .
    In 1918, Clark Gable left his home and went to a nearby city to explore. By chance, he watched the drama "Blue Bird" and fell in love with the performance ever since. He often went to the theater as a volunteer newsboy, and sometimes ran out of tricks. Later, despite his father's opposition, he wandered around alone, having worked in more than ten professions including shoemaker, electrician, and salesperson. In 1923, Clark Gable made a provisional guest lead role in the Star Troupe. Soon he got to know the Broadway actor Josephine Dillon , who was 17 years his elder , and was guided by her. 

    Performing Experience

    In 1931, Clark Gable signed a one-year contract with MGM; in the same year, he filmed the first Movie "Colorful Desert", playing a cowboy, and officially started his Movie career   . In 1932, starred in Movie " The Error "; in the same year he was elected as one of the "Top Ten Hollywood Movie Actors"   .
    On February 22, 1934, the comedy " It Happened One Night " starring Clark Gable was released in the United States   ; in the same year, he won the 7th Oscar Award for Best Actor for the film, which was the first time the Oscars gave this award Awarded to comedy actors   .
    In 1935, Clark Gable played the role of a British naval officer in charge of the mutiny of soldiers in the two-million-dollar film Mutiny on the Bounty . The film won the 8th Academy Awards for Best Picture, and Clark Gable was nominated for Best Actor at the 8th Academy Awards   .
    In 1936, he collaborated with Carole Lombard on the film "The Husband's Secret ". In 1937, Clark Gable was elected as the movie emperor of Hollywood in the selection of the movie emperor and queen held that year   .
    In 1938, he co-starred in Movie " Test Pilot " with Spencer Tracy and Lionel Barrymore . In 1939, Clark Gable and Vivian Mary Hartley co-starred in Movie " Gone with the Wind ", playing the proud and unrestrained, passionate Brayder , and was nominated for Best Actor at the 12th Academy Awards .  
    In 1940, he participated in the romantic adventure film " Strange Cargo " directed by Frank Borzage . In the film, Wenny, played by Clark Gable, was a criminal convicted in prison . 
    On August 12, 1942, 41-year-old Clark Gable joined the U.S. Air Force as a soldier. In July 1944, he retired from the Air Force as a major officer and returned to Hollywood   .
    In 1945, he co-starred with Duchess and Joan Blondell in the movie "Love in the Angry Sea" directed by Victor Fleming  . Participated in Movie "The Hucksters" in 1947   .
    In 1949, starring in Movie "Smoke Disperses". In 1951, starred in the adventure film "Blood in the Wild Mountain" directed by William A. Wellman  . In 1953, he played the role in the original film again in the remake of "Red Dust"   .
    In 1954, co-starring with Judy in Movie "The Spy Tune". In 1956, he participated in Movie "The King and Four Queens". In 1957, starred in the Movie "Jin Han Yannu" directed by Raoul Walsh   .
    In 1958, he starred in Movie " Run Silent Run Deep " and played a highly skilled diving officer who was keen to drive. In 1960, when filming a piece of " The Misfits ", he insisted not to use a substitute. Before the film was released, Clark Gable died of a heart attack. 

    Personal Life

    In 1924, Clark Gable married Josephine Dillon, who was 15 years older than him; in April 1930, the two divorced.   In March 1939, Clark Gable married Carole Lombard . In 1942, Carole and his mother were killed in a plane crash. 
    In 1949, Clark Gable and Sylvia Ashley married. The marriage lasted only 3 years. The two divorced in 1952   .
    In 1955, Clark Gable married Kay Williams   . In March 1961, Clark Gable's posthumous son was born. To commemorate Gable, his son was named John Clark Gable.
