The dark version of Stand By Me, the film is not terrifying, but the bullying, family and other issues in it are chilling. The bloody killing X scene was actually filmed straightforwardly. The performance of the young actors is very "professional". The IT scenes like fear are few but enough. Creepy, facing the unknown, fear, bullying/ignorance and misunderstanding of growing up, you must face it bravely like confronting IT, otherwise it will be swallowed by IT.
