The director hid all the sunny beauties and handsome guys in Sweden. All found were fading, dull, old, dying. The child born of a handsome dancing boy and a fat dance teacher who molested her is probably one of the few young figures. Colors are oppressive, be it architecture, interiors, or clothing. What is the director trying to say? The meaningless repetition of life, the cycle, the silence, the dullness?
