There is nothing to praise about this film. The screenwriter and producer is Shakespeare, and the work is Ukiyo-e in modern American society. Comparing "the wire" with the popular American dramas, I immediately felt that those were too pediatric. I don’t understand why "House of Cards" is alive, but "the Wire" is so niche. Is it because it is too close to reality?
