Perhaps it is because the capacity of the movie is so limited compared to the wider paper world of books, so that after drastically cutting the original work, the whole movie can't bear scrutiny on the details. The main story is also flat and straightforward, which is boring, unlike the first. The two or three parts are as subtle and graceful as twists and turns. Although the acceleration in narrative efficiency has caused the narrative details to be stretched, with Dumbledore’s death as the central point, the little prince Draco Malfoy suddenly became serious and transformed into the sad little prince as the main plot of the sideline. The emotional intensity somewhat compensates for the shortcomings brought about by the former.
