This is a true story.
Just like "Mind Hunter", it was adapted from a real case. The murderer killed 12 people in 4 years (the murderer claimed 15, and later changed his name to 12, and the real one was 8), and the victims were all helpless young men.
There was no bloody scene in the whole process, relying on the dialogue...
