American "don't give up, don't give up"

Because the computer suddenly went off last night, I turned my attention to the TV. Luckily, after more than half an hour of changing channels one after another, I saw this film on cctv6, which happened to start at that time. Although the interest in war films is not that big, but fortunately, the...

The most successful rescue operation in U.S. military history

As a classic battle example, "The Great Rescue" shows us all the necessary links for a successful operation: sufficient reconnaissance and enemy intelligence, perfect battle plan and command, excellent combat personnel, good friendly cooperation and logistics ...

a very good film, a bit like "Black...

Good historical significance. Planning and cooperation made the rescue very successful. I happened to be studying this history, and the English-only CD I watched in class was slightly different from the online version. The last part of love passed by the sound of the whole class chewing hot dogs and potato chips... Of course, there is no such emotional entanglement in history. Capt Prince is as his name suggests =w=~ My impression of the US military has improved overall.

The impression is not very deep. After a cursory look back, it is still an American hero blockbuster. . . .

    The Great Raid quotes

    • General Kreuger: Henry, I'll be honest with you. This mission appeals more to my heart than to my head.

    • Lt. Colonel Mucci: I'm here to tell you men the latrine rumors are true. We finally got a mission worthy of Rangers. We're going to push through our frontlines right into the Japs' backyard and rescue 500 hundred American prisoners of war. Goin' to be a rough son of a bitch- a textbook-style raid that can only succeed through speed, surprise, and overwhelming firepower. Before you start congratulating yourselves, remember you haven't achieved a damn thing yet. You're the best-trained, least-proven battalion in this whole army. This is your one chance to do something about it, and I mean ONE chance. How you acquit yourselves over the next 48 hours will determine how you are judged for the rest of your lives- men worthy of serving in this army... or... an embarrassment that history and time will eventually forget. It's up to you. Now, I happen to think it's the former. That's why I'm accompanying you on this raid. There's not another group of men in this or any other army I'd sooner trust my life with. You're the finest, best-prepared soldiers this country has ever sent to war, and I expect you to PROVE it... IS THAT CLEAR?

      6th Ranger Battalion: YES, SIR!
