    Bright was a member of the New Zealand band The Black Seeds. Has released an album called Prototype .
    Met with Maine CLIMAVENETA (Jemaine Clement) at Victoria University of Wellington and joined So You're a Man to perform together. In 1998, they formed their own band Flight of the Conchords Flight of the Conchords .
    Bright is one of the members of Wellington International Ukulele in Hawaiian, Ukulele means "Arrival Gift" .
    In the summer of 2011, Bright served as the music director of " The Muppets " The Muppets , writing the original soundtrack for the film. Among them, Man or Muppet and Life's a Happy Song were nominated as the best original film music by the Critics' Choice Awards and the Annual Satellite Awards . In 2012, Man or Muppet finally won the best film song in the 84th Academy Awards .
    In 2014, Bright wrote film music for the movie " The Muppets2 " Muppets Most Wanted .
