  • Brad Dourif was born in The United States of America on March 18, 1950. His father was the owner of a dye factory, but he died when Dourif was three years old. Later, his mother remarried to a golfer, and his stepfather loved Dorif and his sister very much. Under the influence and encouragement of his mother who was an actor, Dorif's dream since childhood was to be an excellent actor.
    In 1975, Dorif played the fragile Billy in the movie "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest". With his outstanding performance, he won the Golden Globe Award for Best Newcomer, Oscars Best Supporting Actor Nomination and British Drama Award for Best Actor. Nominated for supporting roles.
