  • Mary William Ethelbert Appleton Burke (Billie Burke) was born in Washington. Father is a clown actor in a circus. When he was 8 years old, the family moved to London and studied in England and France. In 1907, she went to New York to meet with John. Drucker co-starred in the stage play "My Wife" and became famous on Broadway. In 1915, he entered the film world with "Peggy", and since then he has starred in 12 silent films. During the period, he married the singer and dance actor and stage supervisor Siegfried. Entering the age of sound films, she has appeared in dozens of films one after another, but most of them played some frivolous, talkative comedy characters. In 1949, she published her autobiography "Feathers on My Nose". Representative works include " Simple Men " and so on.
