    Early Experience

    Bai Ling was born on October 10, 1961 in Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. His father was Bai Yuxiang, a music teacher from the Peoples Liberation Army  , and her mother Chen Binbin was a Dancer and later a literature teacher at Sichuan University . 
    She has loved acting since she was a child.During the period, she participated in Model Operas in her elementary school. At a young age, she was able to memorize the main passages of the eight major Model Operas . Later, she also participated in some public performances organized by publicity teams. Bai Ling also learned pipa when she was a child. She played the pipa in a costume film and an American film starring in her. It was played by Bai Ling herself. After graduating from junior high school, she went to Shuangliu, a suburb of Chengdu, to jump in the line. 
    After graduating from high school in 1978, he joined the Tibet Field Force Art Troupe.
    Bai Ling served as a soldier in the propaganda team of Nyingchi, Tibet, and later worked as a nurse. One year he was catching up with the Emei Film Studio to shoot a movie. After being recommended, Bai Ling played a small line with only a few lines in the film. The role, this is the first time she "shocked". Two or three years later, Bai Ling was demobilized and returned to Chengdu and was assigned to the Sichuan Provincial People's Art Theater. From then on, she was truly engaged in performances. 

    Performing Experience

    While at the Sichuan Provincial People’s Art Theater, she pretended to be a man in the first drama "Yueqin and Little Tiger" starring in the drama "Yueqin and Little Tiger". This drama was performed in Sichuan with great success.
    In 1984, he went to Beijing to report for a performance and was fancyed by the film director Wenji Teng . Bai Ling was invited to star in the film "Beach".
