When you stand with yourself
Immigration is the subject of sorrow. It is composed of loss, hope, going to the unknown, fighting against strangers, and homesickness. Time runs through a lifetime.
Or it can be said that searching is throughout a lifetime. When Hussein was young, he searched for love in the mountains, then went...

1. Rare immigrant-themed movies no longer have bitterness and hatred, but have turned the weight into lightness, with joy and joy, pleasing to the eye. 2. A fast-paced two-line narrative. The current homecoming and the departure 45 years ago constitute a contradictory confrontation. The third-generation immigrant girl in a family is used as the narrator in the story, and the narrator does not understand Turkey. The three generations of grandchildren of the language and the implicit viewer are also Germans, so Turkish and German in the flashback line are reversed to simulate the embarrassment of language barriers of immigrants. 3. The two departures and return homes also show cultural differences, stereotypes and conservative xenophobia, such as male and female costumes (beards and turbans), religious divisions, toilets and pits, food (pork knuckle potatoes & cola) and Christmas celebration. 4. Seamlessly connected surreal video: the nightmare before leaving, the recurrence of the scene of grabbing the marriage and the relationship, the little boy’s eyes each family member stopped hand in hand with him as a child decades ago. 5. The same obsessions of the three brothers and sisters throughout their lives have also reappeared: grabbing the quilt while sleeping together, sipping Coke and dreaming of becoming a garbage collector. 6. The red, blue, and yellow light in the room after the grandfather passed away was mesmerizing and gloomy. (8.8/10)

Awesome! People like me who are not interested in Turkish culture are so caught up in the rhythm of the film that they don't change the channel. The emotions of the Turkish immigrants and their hometown, and the details of family life are very real and vivid, humorous and touching. The director has handled the last few details very well! No spoilers, I highly recommend everyone to watch it. For more than 2 hours, I laughed and cried. Isn't that little boy the one who played "Ring Messenger", his acting skills are great!
