  • Andrew Christopher Stanton Jr. (Andrew Stanton), was born on December 3, 1965 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He is an American animation director, screenwriter, and producer. He graduated from the California Academy of Arts.
    In 1987, he directed his first animated short film "A Story", thus starting his career as a director. In 1991, co-directed the series of animated short films "Jumping Lights" with John Lasseter . In 1995, he served as the screenwriter of the animated adventure film " Toy Story ", and the film was nominated for the 68th Oscar Awards-Best Original Screenplay [1]  . In 1998, he directed the animated adventure film " A Bug's Life ". With this film, he was nominated for the 27th Anne Award-Outstanding Individual Achievement Award-Animation Film Director Award and Screenwriter Award.
