      After watching it, I found out that this is an old movie from 1948, not the movie of the same name that I wanted to watch. There seem to be quite a few versions of "Oliver Twist", but overall I was not disappointed. The light and shadow under the black and white lens has a unique beauty. The last paragraph tells us that old movies also have big scenes. The most impressive thing is the shivering dog, which is really amazing.

      The adaptation is too simple, omitting the long experience of Oliver's life, and the rhythm of the second half is too fast and dramatic, I prefer Polanski's version.
