    Alison Lohman was born on September 18, 1979 in Palm Springs, California. When she was in the first grade of elementary school, she was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and she continued to take medication until adulthood. At the age of 9, she played Gretyl in the "Sound of Music" at the McCallum Theatre in the Palm; at the age of 11, she won the Desert Theater League Musical Award for Outstanding Actress Award for her performance in the play "Anne"; At the age of seventeen she has appeared in twelve different works. In high school, she received a prize from the National Art Fund and the opportunity to study at the Tisk Art Institute, but she declined. After graduating from high school, she moved to Los Angeles and began seeking screen performances   .
