    In 1983, he directed his debut feature film " Quartet for the End of Time " and debuted. In 1991, filming a black comedy about AIDS, " Only with Your Partner ", won the attention of Hollywood [1]  . In 1995, directed the fantasy family film " A Little Princess ". In 1998, directed the romance film " Great Expectations " [2-3]  .
