      No

The two lions in their prime of life (according to the judgment of the skulls, the two lions are about 7 years old, and the prosperity is tight) cannibalism is not entirely due to the destruction of nature by humans. Because of the rinderpest raging, the amount of traditional food for lions dropped...

Hunting for humanity and lion heart in the dark

One of my ten best collection films, recommended as a classic as a teenager, this view has not changed so far. The lack of promotion and publicity of this film may have affected its popularity. The connotation of the film covers the wonderful depiction of the collision of the external world and...

Smooth genre piece. One more star for that chat about memories. There are some things that I really want to keep in my mind, but they are forgotten.

I actually don't have a strong sense of non-presence fear of "cannibals". I always think that beasts can eat people, and I always think that beasts can of course be smarter than humans. So before watching this movie, even if I really knew the true background of the story, I never thought that the beast cannibal could be so terrifying. The director accurately conveyed his horror, powerlessness, and awe of the African grasslands. I feel it, and I feel scared. The specimen of the Tsavo lion should be in the Field Museum now.

The Ghost and the Darkness quotes

    • Nigel: Patterson the lion killer. I do wish I had been here for the hunt.

      John Patterson: No, you don't.

    • Samuel: [narrating] The men called them the Ghost and the Darkness. There were two of them, and that had never happened before because man-eaters are always alone. They owned the night but they also attacked in daylight. Alone or together. Without fear or reason. Some thought they were not lions at all, but the spirits of dead medicine men come back to spread madness. Or they were the devil sent to stop the white man from owning the world. I believed this... that they were evil. What better ground for evil to walk than Tsavo? Because this is what the word Tsavo means; "a place of slaughter".
