Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell is a fantasy miniseries directed by Toby Haynes and starring Bertie Carvel and Edward Maurise Charles Marsan . The show tells the story of the struggle between two sorcerers, Mr. Norell and Jonathan Strange. The show aired in the UK on May 17, 2015.

"Omar" (Omar, another translation of Omar), a film released by Pretty Pictures, was released in France on October 16, 2013. The film depicts three childhood friends and a young woman slandering each other during their struggle for freedom during the occupation of Palestine.  "Omar" was selected in the first round of The Oscar for Best Foreign Language Film Award in 2013 . 

The French drama "Versailles" (Versailles), which landed on the French Canal+ channel in November, is a TV drama set in the era of French Louis XIV. It depicts the protagonist Louis XIV in 1667, when he was 28 years old. How the ruthless monarch of Bourbon solves puzzles and builds the most lavish Palace of Versailles in Europe. It is worth noting that this TV series has a high budget investment and a strong work team, aiming to compete with the British drama " Downton Abbey " and the American drama " Game of Thrones ".

War and Peace is a mini-series produced by the BBC and The Weinstein Company , directed by Tom Harper and starring Paul Franklin Dano , Lily James and James Naughton , which premiered on BBC One on 3 January 2016. Adapted from the novel of the same name written by Leo Tolstoy, the play tells the story of the ups and downs of the four aristocratic families in Russian society before and after the Russo-French War in 1812   .

"The Exception" is a feature film directed by David Levio, starring Jai Courtney and Lily James , released in 2016. The film tells the story of a German officer who falls in love with a young Jewish Dutch woman in the early days of World War II.

Catch-22 is a war comedy co-directed by George Clooney , Grant Heslov , Ellen Kuras and starring Christopher Abbott , Kyle Chandler , George Clooney , Hugh Laurie . Adapted from the satirical classic of Joseph Heller, the play mainly tells the story of a U.S. air force stationed on a small Mediterranean island at the end of World War II   . The drama premiered on Hulu on May 17, 2019   ; on August 7, 2020, "Catch-22" won the Best Overseas Drama Award at the 26th Shanghai TV Festival   .

The Ghazi Attack is an action thriller film directed by Sancap Reddy and starring Rana Daggubati and Kay Kay Memnon. The film tells the story of the Pakistan Navy's planned attack on India's Majestic-class aircraft carrier INS Vikrant to control the waters of the Bay of Bengal in 1971 during a top secret mission.

Occupation is a science fiction film directed by Luke Sparke, starring Dan Ewing and Temuera Jack Nicolas David Morrison . The film tells the story of a small group of townspeople who have to band together to defend against an alien invasion.
