"Heartbreak Ridge" is a war film directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Clint Eastwood and Marsha Maso. The film tells the story of a battle launched by the US 9th Army in the latter part of the Korean War to fight for control of the village of Shangganling and its surrounding areas in the southern foothills of Wusong Mountain in Gimhwa County in central Korea.

"Casualties of War" is a 113-minute war film produced and released by Columbia Pictures. The film was directed by Brian Russell De Palma, starring Michael J. Fox , Sean Justin Penn , Ving Rhames , John Christopher Reilly , John Leguizamo, etc., and was released in the United States on August 18, 1989.
