"Animal City" is the 55th animated feature film of Disney Animation Studios. The film is inspired by the talking animalsfairy tale "", which act like humans.
The executive producer of the film, John Lasseter, grew up watching "Wind in the Willows". He really wanted to make a talking animal movie, and director Byrne Howard found that any Disney animation can be used. In modern society, all aspects of this society can be reflected.
In the early creative version, Nick Fox is the protagonist. The audience understands Zootown from Nick’s perspective, but Nick has long been unable to pay attention to or interest in Zootown. If the audience understands Zootown through his pessimistic perspective, then the audience will not. Would like Zoo City. The creator hopes that the audience will care about Zootopia and its survival, so it changed to Judy the Rabbit as the protagonist, because Judy is more positive and optimistic, which contrasts Nick’s negative arguments with Judy.
