  • "Your Highness" is the second collaboration between David Gordon Green and James Franco after "Pineapple Express" in 2008 .
  • The film was rated R because of the bloody scenes and some indecent dialogue. The original cut but Natalie Hershlag suggested to keep these scenes because it better reflects the style of the film.
