The original 1986 book touched me. Although the film directed by Snyder is faithful to the original book, it still feels disappointing. ()
Director Zac Snyder's efforts to be faithful to the original comic book is the biggest mistake of the film, because the film makes the flaws of the original book more obvious. ()
The screen version of "Watchmen" adapted by Snyder often has amazing visual impact, but it also often gives people the feeling of confusion and disintegration. ()
"Watchmen" gives the impression that the director is afraid to leave his mark on the film. It is more like a translation rather than a conversion from one medium to another. ()
The momentum is huge, fragmented, violent, ambiguous, dazzling and dark, occasionally flashing light. ()
As the story unfolds, the film becomes more and more boring, complicated and easily forgotten. ()
The real disappointment of the film is that it did not take the audience into another world like "Spartan 300", and the Chandler-style narration of the character Rorschach in the film is also useless. ()
