Watchmen Gain confidence from The Dark Knight

Schneider believes that because of the success of Christopher Nolan's "Dark Knight", his situation has been consolidated. "The Dark Knight" is a superhero film full of complicated thinking. Schneider described it as "serious as It's brain surgery on babies", and this metaphor is his compliment to "The Dark Knight."
Compared with the realistic aesthetic appeal of the Batman movie, Schneider believes that "Watchmen" is more imaginative. Some of the superheroes in the movie can grow to hundreds of feet tall, and the bad guys hide in the nests of Antarctica. And unlike most superhero movies, where justice defeats evil, Schneider said they don't insist on that concept very much.
However, he still angered the comic fans of "Watchmen" when he revealed that he had changed the ending. Although Schneider did not touch the essence of the ending of the story, he changed key details. To keep the original ending intact, you have to consider deleting almost 30 minutes of content from the film.
Schneider spent such a long time producing "Watchmen" enough to prove that he is as full of respect for the original work as comic fans. He even commissioned the original painter Dave Gibson and the original colorist John Higgins to create a movie poster, and he also drew a story plot for the modified ending of the film, and directly applied the images and dialogues from the comics to the film.
The well-intentioned Schneider also has high hopes for "Watchmen", and he hopes that the appearance of this film can change the power of the film company and comic authors.
