At the beginning of the 17th century, there were frequent party fights and political turmoil. The King of Korea, who had just ended the Japanese rebellion with the help of the Ming Dynasty, faced the emerging Jurchen military power in Liaodong. The weak national power and sharp internal and external conflicts led to the decline of North Korea’s national power and the lack of livelihood for the people. From 1636 to 1637, the Manchu Eight Banners Army invaded North Korea. This was the second large-scale invasion of North Korea by the Manchus since the establishment of Nurhachi. It is called "Bingzi Random" in Korean history books.
The film is precisely based on this chaos as the historical background, depicting the magnificent life of Nan Yibo, the hero whose relatives were taken hostage by the people and who made every effort to carry out the rescue. In addition to reproducing the history of war of shame that cannot bear to look back, the film also deeply analyzes the prominent position of bows and arrows in Korean history.

The action scenes are great, and there seems to be no film with bow and arrow as the protagonist before? The ending was a bit bloody. I had been looking forward to a big duel between the two masters. I didn't expect it to be so rushed. Is the martial arts already exhausted, and all the bridges have been used up in the front?

Martial arts films, you should understand a history of North Korea and Qing Dynasty. It is a little strange that this hero does not have the usual heroism, he seems to be more timid than his opponents, is it trying to show the courage that comes from timidity?
