- "War Horse" is the first World War I movie directed by Spielberg. He has directed six ("1941", "Indiana Jones", "Empire of the Sun", "Jihad", "Sinde Le’s List", "Saving Private Ryan"), supervised two films ("Flags of Fathers", "Letters from Iwo Jima") with the theme or story background of World War II, as well as "Brothers" and "Pacific War", etc. Two miniseries.
- The whole film was shot in real scene, and the only special effects used were 3 shots to protect the safety of the horses, and the duration was only a few seconds.

The sensational blockbuster of the orthodox ancestry puts Joey's tenacity and his friendship with the boy Albert at the core, while also ensuring that there are enough shots to show the brutality of the war. There were laughter and tears growing up, tears spilling into the trenches on the battlefield, and the uncontrollable feeling of reunion. The backlit shot of Albert riding his warhorse home as the sun sets is very emotional. Praise Williams' soundtrack, it's so contagious.
