Soon after the film began, Cash walked onto the streets of Memphis and found a digital meter on the side of the road.
-
The film opened in 1944. Cash listened to a show about Joan Carter from the radio. The show claimed that Joan was only 10 years old, but in 1944 Joan was 15 years old.
-
All the tracks in the film were sung by Phoenix and Witherspoon.
-
From the moment the signing was confirmed to play, Phoenix kept playing the guitar, reading autobiography, listening to records, watching videos, and immersed himself in Cash's life track.
-
Witherspoon learned to play the harp before filming the film, and got inspiration for his performance by inspecting Joan's closet and other details of life.
-
Witherspoon specially went to meet Cash’s children before the filming. One of them said that her breasts were not full enough. She immediately ran to the costume designer and asked to solve this problem with styling.
-
Cash was a well-known drinker during his lifetime. In order to make Cash more real, Phoenix forced himself to raise the level of alcohol.

Originally I thought two and a half hours were quite long, but when I saw the end, I was amazed at how it ended! In fact, Mr. Cash's life experience is relatively unsurprising. Accidental drug use was quite common in the music circle at that time, but the songs selected in the movie are all great and good.

After watching this film, I finally decided that American biographical films are definitely not really "biographical", but feature films.
Walk the Line quotes

Ray Cash: Mister big shot, mister pill poppin' rock star. Who are you to judge, you ain't got nothin', big empty house, nothin', children you don't see, nothin', big ol' expensive tractor stuck in the mud, nothin'.
-
June Carter: So y'all sit down, squat down or lie down but make yourselves at home 'cause here's the one and only, Mr. Johnny Cash!
