Jellyfish, crocodile embryos, nebulae, canyons in Utah and Ganymede; the first signs of life, bacteria, the origin of cells, the feeling of first love, the birth of consciousness, human evolution, life and death, and more, directed by Malik and natural scientist , historians, special effects photographers. The film was shot on locations around the world, including the American Southwest, Hawaii, Iceland, Chile, Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and more.
Malik has been making Voyage of Time for 30 years, and he once described the film as one of his greatest personal dreams. The project's founding dates back to the late 1970s, when Malik announced that he was working on a documentary "Q" and received a $1 million investment from Paramount. Later, the project was stranded for a time, and there were investment disputes and replacement of the dubbing lineup. But in the end the film was distributed by IMAX and Broad Green Films
