He dug up her tomb to determine if she was still alive. He didn’t realize that it was his mother’s flowerbed. Vincent’s mother shut him in the room. He knew he had to be deported to the Tower of Doom. Sentenced to spend his life and sleep there, alone, with only the portrait of his beautiful wife as his companion, when his lonely "grave" was left with his chaotic thoughts.
