Van Wilde has spent the 7th year in college, but graduation is still so far away for him. When will his long college career be considered to be the end? However, Fan is very satisfied with this kind of leisurely and contented life. He and his heroic deeds-including concocting and spreading jokes, paying for charities, and motivating the victims, etc.-have become campuses. In a legendary story, a large group of admirers gathered around him. Fan's father couldn't bear this unconvincing son, and he refused to pay for Fan's tuition. In order to continue this kind of "never graduate" life, Fan had no choice but to turn to work as a party planner to make a living. The female reporter at the school, Gervin Pearson, had long been displeased with Fan. She seized the opportunity, she was embarrassed everywhere, so the two began a contest of will and qualities. As a result, it is natural that the enemy has a narrow road, and the two people who do not know each other have become a pair of mandarin ducks. They have discovered many excellent qualities in each other that they do not possess. But the only trouble comes from Gervin’s boyfriend, Richard, a member of the self-centered boys’ club, who is determined to prevent Fan from continuing to become the most popular figure on campus at any cost.

Van Wilder: I'm flattered, I'd love for your piece to be on me.

Richard: Mr. Wilder here is quite the collegian. He's in his, what? sixth year?
