The film is based on the existing IP, the beloved French graphic novel, and director Luc Besson’s talent as a producer and designer is still commendable. Movies are an otherworldly world. But the next time the director makes a movie, he should re-read the original manga, study the characters and the content in the dialog box, and see if there is anything worth filming. The Lucasian model and the dull reading of the lines make people yawning.
"Interstellar Agents: City of a Thousand Stars" has achieved the advanced and pleasant old school-that kind of wild, creative and exciting experience only director Luc Besson can control. The film is composed of a diverse series of adventures. It has a commendable cosmic environment and amazing CG alien characters. This is an expensive adventure blockbuster. The creativity of the film overwhelms its uneven elements.
