The story takes place in Kansas in 1880. A farmer named William Munny, he was a notorious murderous thug and robber. In Great Whiskey Town, Kansas, Wyoming, in the western United States, a vicious incident occurred in which a drunk cowboy beat and disfigured a prostitute. The prostitutes reported to the county, but the sheriff "Little Bill" Dagett only asked the two cowboys to compensate the brothel owner for seven horses, and the matter was rushed. The prostitutes were very angry. They donated money and offered a reward of $1,000 to capture the criminal and his accomplices. A young man who wanted to be a cowboy gunner and nicknamed "Scofield Kid" was moved by this bounty. He found William Munny and offered a half-and-half reward after the incident.
Munny was a notorious murderous thug and train robber. But since he married the beautiful Claudia and gave birth to two children, Munny decided to abandon evil and do good and live a normal life. Soon, his wife died of an illness. The sad Munny buried his wife, took two children, and went to a small town outside Kansas to run a pig farm. He had to use his hard work to raise his two children. But the appearance of "Schofield Kid" disrupted his life again.
At first, Munny was reluctant to get involved in this sinful deed, because he remembered that he had promised his wife that he would no longer be involved in slaughter, but for the huge bounty and to make his young children rich. Living, Munny, who had bid farewell to his 11-year career as a gunman, decided to return to his old career and participate in this hunt. "Schofield Boy", Munny, and Munny's old partner, Ned Logan, chased to the canyon together and ended the lives of the two cowboys. Unfortunately, Logan was captured by "Little Bill" Daggett's men and tortured to death by them.
When Munny and Daggett met in Big Whiskey, outside Logan's corpse bar, Munny was extremely angry and killed Daggett and his men. Before leaving, Munny cursed: "If anyone shoots at me, I will not only kill him, but also kill his wife, kill all his friends, and turn his house to ashes. You'd better not Disfigured prostitutes, don't hurt them! Otherwise I will come back and kill you one by one!" Munny finished the bloody massacre, received the bounty, and left Kansas with his two children and went to San Francisco to do business.
