Undine evaluation action

"Undine" has a traditional and classic narrative. The camera does not shake and there are few close-ups of characters. Most of the time, it keeps a distance from the audience. So the audience knows they're watching a movie with fictional characters, but director Christian Petzold tells the story so quietly, even knowing it's just a movie, I will still be moved by the characters and be saddened by love. The appearance of the film is a very modern love story, but the scenes have a textbook-like precise design, and every picture is pushed and every dialogue is intriguing. The love that has been talked about badly in the movie, under the director's rigorous and meticulous audio-visual language, also deduces a different real atmosphere. The infatuation and innocence of men, the happiness and brilliance of women, with only a few strokes and three or five shots, the description of emotion is calm but straight to the heart. This is an extremely concise but masterful expression in the director's work. The movie is destined to be a tragic mythical love story. Behind the real portrayal, the mythological embellishment can be called a magic pen. The hints so far are without abruptness and absurdity, and are seamlessly integrated with the entire plot. Love is real and romantic, myths are mysterious and far-flung, and the historical past and present development of the city runs through it. The stories of a city and the people living here, love, fate and death are closely linked. The final ending of the film is not deliberately curious, a touch of sadness, but not pessimistic, saying goodbye to the person you love, cherishing the love, and then working hard to start a new life
. The story of Undine ends up being a water sprite—once turbulent, now calm
. The cycle of destiny itself should be like this
