Perhaps it is the pretense of the American family and spirit being too beautiful. It seems that there is no mother's role under the violence of the father for many years. In the end, a simple sentence can be washed away? And what is the position of the uncle crying and apologizing in front of his father's cemetery? Reality always has a more complex interpretation. If the family can't understand it, how will it end? I think it's a more reasonable ending in the context of a small southern town.

After the truth is revealed, the drama becomes interesting and warm. The contradictions brought about by "fatherhood" have not been resolved. Of course, they do not need to be resolved, because these problems may never be understood and reconciled like many problems, but one sentence no problem It's already the biggest consolation. May we all be the ones who don't need people around us to define people who are only loyal to themselves btw Paul Bettany's acting is really good. Actually, there are a few in Marvel who can still act.

Uncle Frank quotes

  • Wally: Nice always hides something. What's hidden is what interests me.

  • Beth: You don't need these men's permission to play with me, you need mine which I'll never ever give up because you are presumptuous and disrespect, and you're probably even stupider than you look.

    [Mechanic scroffs]

Beth: And you look pretty goddamn stupid.
