The racing race that appears in the film is exactly the Indianapolis 500 race that exists in reality. As a key plot in the development of the story, in order to truly restore this historical event, the animation design team obtained the permission of the "Indy 500" organizing committee after several setbacks, and spent several months on site investigation and framing. Among them, there are tens of thousands of hand-drawn drafts alone, covering every detail of the racing track.
In order to ensure the authority of the racing plot, the production team also invited some of the most representative figures in the racing industry, such as the car series champion and three-time "Indy 500" champion Dario Franchite as the main consultant. In addition, in terms of sound effects, Richard King , who has won Oscars three times , also joined the film and worked closely with Sauron to create the unique motor roar of the protagonist in the Teber competition.
The animation designer also introduced that each snail in the film has its own exclusive color, and the color is closely related to its personality. For example, Boone with a hot personality is a blazing red color, and a white phantom who thinks he has a shadow-like speed is bright white.
