Netflix and CBC Television Showcase are shooting a time travel series "Travelers", which will be broadcast on Showcase and Netflix. Filming began in Vancouver. The play was created and written by Brad Wright. It tells the story of the last human beings on earth who passed their consciousness to people in the 21st century after hundreds of years; these traversers look like ordinary people, but they secretly Cooperation is to reverse the terrible future destiny of mankind.
These traversers include FBI special agent Grant MacLaren (Eric McCormack, the same below), the leader of the traversers, Marcy (MacKenzie Porter), a young lady with a mental retardation under the care of social worker David (Patrick Gilmore), a high school student and Quarterback Trevor (Jared Abrahamson), an abused single mother Carly (Nesta Cooper), heroin addicted college student Philip (Reilly Dolman). What they can rely on is their own knowledge of historical development and the archives of social media platforms. Travelers find that living and building relationships in the 21st century are not as difficult as their tasks. The remaining actors also include J. Alex Brinson, Arnold Pinnock, Dylan Playfair and Ian Tracey.
