When the film was released in Hong Kong, the total box office revenue was 66,300,900 Hong Kong dollars, making it the 16th highest grossing movie in Hong Kong history and the first Asian movie box office ever. It was screened in Taiwan, with a total box office revenue of more than 340 million Taiwan dollars, making it the best-selling Korean film in Taiwan’s film history.
