In 1984, Pete Larder and Kevin Eastman co-created the "TMNT" comic series, making superheroes the image of a tortoise for the first time. When the comics were published, they were not only black and white, but only 3,000 copies were printed. However, what they could not imagine was that comic books were sold out almost in the blink of an eye. In less than a year, Larder and Eastman obtained a license to make the characters in the comics into dolls. After another nine years, "TMNT" evolved into a TV cartoon series and three live-action movies. The live-action movies released in the early 1990s, whether they are art-level animation production or professional martial arts choreography, have provided audiences around the world with a new film format.
The film’s producer Thomas K. Gray is also the producer of the first three "Turtle" movies. He hopes that these green superheroes should be raised to a new level in the field of film, through this new animated feature film. Try something they have never done before. As of 2007, in the past more than 20 years, the turtle has become the most popular character toy in many parts of the United States, and then became popular in Europe, Australia and most countries in the Asia-Pacific region. It can be said that the series of cartoons broadcast on TV are the main reason for the strong fan base of the Mutant Turtles. Although they have grown up in the past, their original feelings will not change. Even so, the Mutant Turtles still need to develop a kind of A new way to be able to make a completely different impression on these people.
