There are three stories from different eras in "Three Times", all adapted from real people and real events. The first part of the story contains the shadows of Hou Hsiao-hsien and his friends, the second part is taken from the anecdote of a certain politician's grandfather, and the third part is the true story of the daughter of Taiwanese artist Ai-Chen Tan MC Jin
