In 1964, Kitty Genovese was killed in cold blood in front of her home in Queens, New York, USA, causing a great blow to her brother William Genovese. In 2004, "Time" revisited the old story. The murder process lasted for 35 minutes and 38 witnesses stood by, which was really chilling. In the end, is New York's indifference, the sloppy investigation of the year, or the exaggeration and inaccuracy of the report. William Genovese: If I was going to have more success, Charlie Skoller suggested that I start with the trial transcript. My family couldn't bear to go to the trial in 1964 so I never heard the testimony of the witnesses. Only 5 of the 38 witnesses were called to take the stand.
