After the success of the first few of the "Twilight" series, the filming of the last part of the novel was naturally put on the agenda, but when the pre-production work was about to begin, the original author of the novel, Stephanie Meyer, hopes to produce the film. The company can make a novel into a next-episode movie. The reason is that the novel is too long, and a movie cannot contain all the content. It is an impossible task to put a 754-page novel in a movie. After weighing the plot and market value of the novel, the film's producer Wick Godfrey decided to split the novel into two and shoot it into the next episode.
In the end, the film takes Bella’s life as the main line, and the story in the previous episode revolves around the relationship between Bella and Edward, telling the plot of the two people’s marriage and childbirth; in the next episode, there are many action scenes, mainly between vampires. And the battle with the werewolves. This split is the most suitable. The first and second episodes are not lacking in highlights, and they can be independent of each other.
