"Bountiful" is a fictitious place name that means "kindness, fraternity and generosity". The film transports the audience to this dreamy place, showing the world, dreams, memories, values and power of an old man, convincingly allowing the audience to see, understand and experience the whole life of the old man. The film's success is yet another testament to the fact that depicting a person's existence is the deepest and most universal subject matter, trumping any heart-pounding suspense, heart-pounding success, and greatest drama. Geraldine Becky, who plays Cary Watts, has been nominated for seven Academy Awards before, and her charismatic, real-life performance blends in with the film to create a plump and moving image that will be featured in this episode. She was nominated for the eighth time at the 59th Academy Awards (1986) and finally won the Best Actress Award.
